The GGF GhiroGoodFriends association, through the GhiroKu Urban Clothing brand and with the support of experts and groups dedicated to wildlife protection, is committed to making the GhiroPark project a reality.
Protecting, preserving, and reintroducing endangered species is our mission!
The GhiroPark project aims to:
- Create natural reserves to preserve forest ecosystems.
- Protect and preserve all inhabitants of forests and wooded lands, with a special focus on dormice, harvest mice, and Eurasian pygmy shrews—these small, often overlooked tree-dwelling rodents.
- Offer educational and discovery spaces for families, schools, and groups, to raise awareness about biodiversity and the importance of preserving it.
DISCOVERING THE DORMOUSE . . .
The dormouse, a fascinating small rodent, hibernates for 7 months of the year and leads a nocturnal life.
Often overlooked, it is, however, a key player in forest ecosystems.
GhiroPark will aim to:
- Raise awareness about this charming animal and its unique way of life.
- Educate the public about the impact of deforestation and logging, the main causes of its disappearance, especially during hibernation.
MORE THAN A NATURE RESERVE . . .
The GhiroPark project will be designed to combine innovation and respect for nature.
It will include:
- Renewable energy: solar, wind, hydro, etc., to minimize environmental impact.
- Strict rules to preserve the tranquility and well-being of the species residing in the park.

- GhiroMed: A wildlife care center with veterinarians and dedicated experts to treat injured animals and help them reintegrate into their natural habitat.
- GhiroMedia: A multimedia space to discover the secret life of dormice through cameras installed in their hiding places, offering undisturbed observation.
- GhiroResto: A restaurant offering Swiss specialties prepared with organic products from the park or local farms.
- GhiroBar: A cozy bar where you can enjoy tea or an aperitif while taking in the tranquility of the park.
- GhiRooms: Mini-chalets and bungalows, perfect for a stay in the heart of nature, far from urban stress.
- GhiroShop: A shop selling GhiroKu products and unique souvenirs to extend the experience.
